Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to contribute to a dynamic payments resilience project by building an Azure platform from the ground up. The role involves significant hands-on technical work, where you will collaborate with project teams to ensure infrastructure automation, security, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate will be proactive in managing and executing technical tasks, facilitating a rapid transition from design to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a new Azure platform from scratch.
- Ensure infrastructure automation and security are prioritized in all deployments.
- Manage networking configurations, including routing, DNS, and firewalls.
- Create and maintain deployment pipelines and monitoring solutions.
- Build environments across Development, Testing, and Production.
- Utilize tools like Terraform for Infrastructure as Code management.
- Monitor system performance and ensure operational readiness.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Azure and associated services.
- Proficiency in using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Azure Front Door, Container Apps, and Docker platforms.
- Knowledge of Azure networking, routing, DNS, and firewall configurations.
- Familiarity with ExpressRoute and hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Experience with Azure SQL connectivity and Key Vault setups.
- Strong background in building and monitoring Azure environments.
