Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in .NET to join a major NHS digital transformation program. This role involves the development and enhancement of critical healthcare applications, where you will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering secure, scalable cloud-native solutions for NHS services. The position allows for remote work with limited onsite presence.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies.
- Build and enhance responsive front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Work within Azure-native environments, leveraging cloud-first architecture principles.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps and QA teams in Agile delivery squads.
- Contribute to technical design, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure solutions meet NHS security, governance and compliance standards.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with C# .NET / .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Experience in REST API development and SQL Server.
- Proficient in front-end technologies including React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong Azure experience, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with infrastructure and deployment best practices.
- Understanding of healthcare application standards and compliance.
