Overview
The Senior Software Engineer role focuses on enhancing a large-scale Structured Notes platform for an investment bank. The successful contractor will primarily work with backend C# technologies while also contributing to the frontend development as needed. Collaboration with a team of engineers will ensure the development of robust solutions in a modern .NET environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend services using C# and .NET technologies.
- Contribute to frontend development with Angular and TypeScript as needed.
- Work on complex, distributed systems involving asynchronous processing.
- Implement event-driven architecture and manage multithreading scenarios.
- Collaborate within the team on system design and software engineering practices.
- Maintain and enhance existing complex codebases efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in C# and .NET development.
- Strong knowledge of .NET 8 and event sourcing techniques.
- Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming.
- Ability to build large-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Angular, TypeScript, and related frontend technologies.
- Previous experience in investment banking or capital markets is highly desirable.
