Overview
We are seeking a Databricks Data Engineer to join our established team, focusing on supporting and enhancing our existing Databricks Data Platform. The contractor will collaborate with a range of stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our data operations while also providing guidance on data engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Support UAT activities across the Databricks Data Platform.
- Provision and onboard new data sources.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Maintain and enhance existing data pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and wider engineering teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Databricks.
- Solid SQL development skills.
- Good working knowledge of Python.
- Experience supporting and maintaining data platforms and pipelines.
- Understanding of data engineering best practices.
- Ability to perform code reviews and identify improvements.
