Overview
The DevOps & Automation Consultant will collaborate with the technology team of a prominent insurance organization to lead significant automation and cloud transformation initiatives. This hands-on contract role involves working closely with the DevOps & Automation Manager to enhance platform reliability, implement modern engineering practices, and integrate AI-driven automation solutions into existing workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and optimize CI/CD pipelines across the technology estate.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code initiatives and platform automation.
- Manage and enhance Kubernetes-based environments.
- Improve deployment, release, and environment management processes.
- Support cloud-native delivery practices and operational excellence.
- Contribute to automation strategies that leverage AI and intelligent tooling.
Requirements
- Strong Azure DevOps experience with ownership of CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise.
- Enterprise Kubernetes experience.
- Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions and deployment automation.
- Experience with Octopus Deploy and release management.
- Windows and RedHat/Linux deployment experience.
- Previous experience within the insurance sector is highly desirable.
