Overview
The Digital Performance Marketer will play a vital role within a remote international team, focusing on elevating digital marketing performance through targeted SEO and paid search strategies. This hands-on position requires an experienced marketer who will quickly manage and optimize various campaigns to align with the organization's growth ambitions. Collaborating effectively with marketing teams across multiple regions, the contractor will be instrumental in providing insights and best practices to enhance campaign outcomes and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Audit, refine and execute SEO and paid search strategies across multiple international markets.
- Manage and optimise Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns to maximise ROI.
- Oversee external PPC agencies and ensure campaigns meet performance objectives.
- Analyse campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
- Monitor key marketing KPIs and generate insightful reports for strategic decision-making.
- Develop and document SEO and paid search best practices for the marketing team.
- Guide regional marketing teams in optimising local campaigns and websites.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to enhance digital marketing capabilities throughout the organisation.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in digital performance marketing with a strong record of measurable results.
- Profound knowledge of technical SEO, on-page optimisation, keyword research, and link building.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising management.
- Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs.
- Outstanding communication skills to advise both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the capability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills in German, Dutch, or French.
