Overview
The Embedded Software Engineer will join a team for a 6-month contract focused on developing and managing embedded systems for autonomous applications in challenging environments. This role involves overseeing the full development cycle of products, collaborating closely with engineers and technical experts to ensure high-quality outputs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software development and testing, contributing to solutions that meet complex requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded systems from inception to delivery across the full development cycle.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement solutions for autonomous systems.
- Conduct software testing, including unit and regression testing to ensure product quality.
- Perform Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing to validate system performance.
- Utilize STM32 microcontrollers and HAL in product development.
- Apply digital signal processing principles where applicable.
- Develop C# graphical user interfaces (GUIs) as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing embedded systems from start to finish.
- Hands-on knowledge of STM32 microcontrollers and HAL.
- Experience with autonomous embedded systems and associated challenges.
- Strong proficiency in software testing practices, including unit and regression testing.
- Familiarity with Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies.
- Basic understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is advantageous.
- Experience in C# GUI development is a plus.
