Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in C# and .NET to contribute to a major modernization program focused on developing cloud-native applications. This hybrid role involves collaboration with engineering and product teams, where the engineer will also explore the integration of AI capabilities into enterprise software. While expertise in AI is not required, a genuine interest and eagerness to learn about AI technologies will be valued.
Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-native applications using C# and .NET.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing software solutions.
- Participate in the modernization and transformation of legacy systems.
- Ensure high standards of software engineering practices and clean coding.
- Build scalable cloud applications and APIs on Microsoft Azure.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experiment with AI technologies as part of application development.
Requirements
- Proven experience with C# and .NET in a commercial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud application development.
- Experience building modern, scalable applications and APIs.
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with transformation programs within enterprise environments.
- Genuine interest in AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI technologies.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Azure OpenAI, or AI-enabled applications is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
