Overview
The Technical Lead will play a key role in an established insurance business focused on developing AI-driven solutions. Reporting to the senior team, the individual will be responsible for ensuring the scalability and reliability of the architecture behind the platform, while being hands-on in improving and extending the system. The position demands strong collaboration with the engineering team, facilitating better practices and decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee architecture and security aspects of the tech platform.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to facilitate decision-making and approvals.
- Engage in hands-on development and enhancement of the platform.
- Prototype solutions to avoid costly errors in implementation.
- Mentor and support engineers to enhance their skills and output.
- Assess and refine existing codebases to improve performance and stability.
- Review and ensure best practices in AI implementation are followed.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, and Azure with a focus on backend and cloud-native solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, and Cosmos DB.
- Demonstrated experience in taking products from concept to production.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal process bureaucracy.
- Availability to start within two weeks and based in the UK.
