Overview
We are seeking an Interim Senior Fullstack Engineer for a 3-month contract, focused on bridging application development with production-ready solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with founders during this pivotal growth stage, leveraging their extensive experience to enhance system architecture and developer processes. The role emphasizes engineering judgment and security without requiring specific AI tooling expertise, providing opportunities for learning and professional advancement.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end solution design for new features within a defined architecture framework.
- Take ownership of complex or high-impact development tasks, focusing on architecture and integrations.
- Design, build, and optimize service journeys using technologies including Python, React, and AWS.
- Write high-quality, testable code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and manage reliable CI/CD pipelines and AWS resources using tools such as Terraform and Docker.
- Evolve platform architecture for improved performance and security at scale.
- Drive improvements in developer experience and internal processes in collaboration with engineers.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in backend and frontend application design and development.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience in agentic coding tools and CI pipeline contributions.
- Successful history of debugging live incidents and improving systems in high-pressure environments.
- Strong understanding of security, performance, and scalability best practices.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration and technical leadership.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
