Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Resources Planning Functional Consultant with a strong background in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to support a major transformation programme. This role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and optimize the use of D365 F&O. The consultant will play a pivotal role in driving user adoption and delivering training, ensuring that D365 is effectively utilized in business processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders to capture and document requirements.
- Translate business requirements into effective D365 Finance & Operations solutions.
- Configure and optimize D365 F&O modules, aligning with business processes.
- Produce functional specifications and support technical teams during development.
- Drive fit-gap analysis and recommend best-practice D365 approaches.
- Support data migration, integration, and testing activities.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve defects.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer to business users.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant.
- Strong expertise across D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting & Financial Reporting.
- Experience with Operations modules such as Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering end-to-end D365 implementations and transformation programmes.
- Ability to perform fit-gap analysis and provide functional solution design.
- Experience supporting testing, training, and change adoption activities.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
