Overview
As an EPC Project Manager, you will lead infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring that all deliveries are safe, cost-effective, and compliant with industry standards. In this role, you will collaborate with diverse teams, fostering an environment that values inclusive perspectives while driving innovation and excellence in project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead investment and pre-construction activities for complex infrastructure projects.
- Ensure positive engagement with customers and stakeholders.
- Deliver compliant, low-cost solutions aligned with CDM and SHESQ standards.
- Manage all stages of project delivery, including design, commissioning, and closure.
- Support and execute consenting, cost estimation, risk mitigation, and innovation strategies.
- Assess FEED requirements while managing contractors, budgets, and contracts.
- Monitor project progress, including SHE, risk management, milestones, and financial reporting.
- Guide the tendering process and develop NEC documentation, acting as the Client's Representative/Principal Designer.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent with extensive experience in related fields.
- NEC3/NEC4 ECC Project Manager qualification is required.
- Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects or programs.
- PM qualification (APM, PRINCE2) is essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
- TP144 and NEBOSH/IOSH certification.
- Strong knowledge of electricity transmission and CDM regulations.
- Demonstrated skills in risk management, contract negotiation, and financial management.
