Overview
We are seeking a Unit4 FP&A Functional Consultant for a 3-month contract, focusing on the hands-on implementation and configuration of Unit4 FP&A solutions for a variety of clients. This fully remote role will involve close collaboration with customers to assess their budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning needs, ensuring effective system designs that align with business processes. The ideal candidate will leverage their practical experience with Unit4 FP&A to drive successful project outcomes across multiple accounts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Unit4 FP&A implementation projects.
- Run discovery workshops to gather customer requirements.
- Translate finance and FP&A processes into effective system designs.
- Configure Unit4 FP&A solutions for budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting.
- Support data migration, testing, training, and go-live activities.
- Advise customers on best practices and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot functional and configuration issues.
- Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, and project teams to contribute to solution design and delivery.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Unit4 FP&A.
- Proven track record of delivering at least one full Unit4 FP&A implementation.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Experience gathering requirements and designing FP&A solutions.
- Ability to configure solutions based on customer requirements.
- Experience working directly with finance stakeholders and end-users.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle T-SQL or PL/SQL, and ETL tools such as SSIS is desirable.
