Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to contribute to a major transformation programme in the engineering, infrastructure, and facilities management sectors. In this role, you will work with an established team, focusing on enhancing data quality, governance, and stakeholder engagement while translating complex data into actionable outputs. You will also provide support to the Data Lead, particularly in client-facing meetings and governance forums.
Responsibilities
- Collect and cleanse data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Converge and reconcile datasets to create reliable information.
- Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities in the data.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Monitor and improve data quality and adherence to governance processes.
- Support data governance activities, including meetings and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with governance, privacy, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to align data activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong skills in gathering, cleansing, validating, and reconciling data.
- Experience working within data governance and quality frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to lead client-facing and governance meetings effectively.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with structured documentation and process mapping tools.
- Experience in facilities management or complex engineering environments is a plus.
