Overview
The Contract Business Analyst - Operations will work within a central build squad focused on enhancing the UK Wealth Proposition for a major private banking and wealth management firm. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders across operations, proposition, and governance to define and implement robust operational frameworks, ensuring a seamless client experience. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in UK wealth management to turn strategic intents into practical, actionable processes.
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end operational journeys for client onboarding and servicing.
- Translate proposition and service design intent into practical operational processes.
- Produce detailed process maps and operational documentation for launch.
- Work with stakeholders to identify dependencies, gaps, risks, and controls.
- Document operational controls, approvals, and service levels throughout the client journey.
- Support the development of launch readiness packs for operational teams.
- Identify friction points in client and colleague journeys and recommend improvements.
- Provide updates on process design progress and governance issues.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in UK wealth management or related financial services.
- Proven background in operational process design and client onboarding.
- Ability to create high-quality process maps and operational documentation.
- Good understanding of client lifecycle management and operational risk in wealth operations.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders across various operational teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous build environment.
- Appreciation of client experience and operational resilience.
- Confident working as a senior contractor in high-stakes programmes.
