Overview
The Technical Business Analyst will work on a significant digital programme for the UK central government, collaborating closely with Software and Data Engineering teams. The role involves translating complex business and technical requirements into actionable specifications, ensuring stakeholder needs are met while navigating engineering delivery. This hands-on position requires a candidate who is adaptable and willing to travel to client sites a few times each month.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex technical and business requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Software and Data Engineering teams to meet project goals.
- Conduct requirements gathering and process mapping activities.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and document findings.
- Ensure standard BA deliverables are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan and coordinate client site visits as needed (2-4 times per month).
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, ideally in the public sector.
- Experience working directly with Software and Data Engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of requirements gathering and process mapping techniques.
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and document outcomes.
- Eligibility for SC clearance, typically requiring 5+ years of UK residency.
- Flexibility to travel for client site visits.
