Overview
The SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance Lead will play a pivotal role in guiding customer implementations within a digital business transformation consultancy. This senior consulting position combines extensive SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance expertise with strong leadership skills to shape the finance workstream, facilitate workshops, and engage with senior finance stakeholders while championing best practices. You will manage project deliverables, lead teams, and ensure alignment with SAP standards, while also providing mentorship to junior consultants.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Finance workstream throughout the full SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition lifecycle.
- Plan and facilitate workshops with Finance Directors and other stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into scalable solutions that align with SAP best practice.
- Own the finance solution design across various financial components.
- Manage finance-related scope, decisions, risks, and dependencies.
- Produce high-quality process designs and solution documentation.
- Coordinate functional consultants and collaborate with project management and other teams.
- Guide customers through critical decisions related to finance operations.
Requirements
- Proven SAP Finance experience with hands-on delivery in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
- At least one end-to-end implementation in a Finance Lead or similar role.
- Detailed knowledge of financial processes, including Record to Report and finance integration disciplines.
- Practical experience with SAP Activate and fit-to-standard workshops.
- Strong understanding of finance interactions with Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage priorities and drive actions to completion in a remote work environment.
- Desirable: SAP S/4HANA Cloud certification in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting.
