Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Risk SME / Risk Transformation Consultant to support a critical Risk technology and transformation initiative within the Energy, Refining, and Commodity Trading sector. The successful candidate will bring a robust background in Credit and Market Risk, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to implement Risk systems and enhance business processes. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional travel to Germany.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Risk SME across Credit Risk and Market Risk.
- Support the implementation and transformation of enterprise Risk Platforms.
- Define and document current-state and future-state Risk processes.
- Design and document Target Operating Models across people, process, technology, data, and governance.
- Gather, analyse, and document detailed business and functional requirements.
- Translate Risk requirements into practical system and technology solutions.
- Produce high-quality documentation covering business processes, workflows, controls, and operating models.
- Identify gaps between existing Risk processes and target platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong subject matter expertise in Credit Risk and Market Risk.
- Proven experience in Risk System implementations, especially with CubeLogic.
- In-depth knowledge of Risk processes, controls, data, and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in Target Operating Model (TOM) design.
- Excellent business process mapping and documentation skills.
- Strong Business Analysis and Functional Consulting capabilities.
- Experience in stakeholder management and effective communication.
- Industry experience in Energy, Commodity Trading, or related fields.
