Overview
This role invites a mid-weight freelance interior designer to join an expanding in-house design team within a leading luxury hospitality group. Working closely with the Design Director, the contractor will be involved in shaping the design of high-end hotels and hospitality spaces by contributing from concept through to completion. This position emphasizes collaboration within a dynamic studio environment, focusing on delivering exceptional luxury experiences.
Responsibilities
- Support projects from concept through to completion.
- Produce detailed technical drawings and specification packs.
- Manage on-site coordination with contractors and suppliers.
- Contribute to styling, photoshoots, and OS&E sourcing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and internal teams.
- Deliver 5-star luxury hospitality environments.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in interior design.
- Strong background in luxury residential or hospitality.
- Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end.
- Strong technical detailing and documentation skills.
- Confident managing suppliers and procurement processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with rendering (Enscape or similar) and styling/photoshoot experience is a plus.
