Overview
This role as a Full Stack Engineer focuses on developing AI-powered language learning and assessment products. The contractor will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable cloud-native applications while integrating advanced AI capabilities. This position requires hands-on engineering expertise and recent experience in the Education or Learning sector, particularly with Chat or Messaging applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python, React, and AWS.
- Contribute to technical architecture, solution design, and engineering best practices.
- Build high-quality, secure, and performant software through short delivery iterations.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor engineers, and drive continuous platform improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Python, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong AWS cloud engineering skills.
- Demonstrated experience with Chat or Messaging platform integration.
- Familiarity with REST API development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability techniques.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
- Knowledge of AI/LLM integration and model capabilities.
