HR Integration Project Lead

Overview

The HR Integration Project Lead will coordinate significant people-related activities for a business transition and acquisition program over a six-month contract. The individual will work closely with senior HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure governance, compliance, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires detailed project management skills and a strong understanding of employee transfer processes within mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain detailed project plans, trackers, and governance documentation.
  • Coordinate activities across HR, Legal, Payroll, Finance, and operational teams.
  • Provide regular project reporting and progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Support programme governance meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Coordinate employee transfer activities, including workforce mapping and transition planning.
  • Ensure all transition documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Monitor completion of post-transition actions and escalate risks as necessary.
  • Liaise with HR systems teams and third-party providers to ensure readiness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering HR projects within mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale organizational change programmes.
  • Strong understanding of employee transfer processes and employment legislation, including TUPE.
  • Demonstrable project coordination and programme management experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Experience producing high-quality project documentation and governance reports.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and project planning tools.
