Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hyper-V Engineer to play a crucial role in a hybrid work environment, focusing on the design, deployment, migration, and optimisation of Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our team to support a significant VMWare to Hyper-V migration project and ensure robust infrastructure performance. This is a three-month contract, ideal for individuals with extensive experience in Hyper-V environments and Windows Server administration.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation solutions.
- Support the migration project from VMWare to Hyper-V environments.
- Optimise existing Hyper-V infrastructures for better performance.
- Administer and manage Windows Server environments.
- Utilise PowerShell scripting for automation processes.
- Implement storage technologies relevant to virtualisation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing and administering Hyper-V environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.
