Overview
The Interim FP&A Modelling Lead will play a crucial role in enhancing the financial planning and reporting processes within a dynamic real estate organization. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of FP&A and senior leadership to develop a comprehensive financial planning model, ensuring robustness and scalability to support the company's growth initiatives. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who excel in navigating complex financial structures and creating clear models.
Responsibilities
- Build fully integrated three-statement financial models from the ground up, covering profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet.
- Develop OpCo and PropCo consolidation models.
- Consolidate and standardize a portfolio of underlying property and tenant models.
- Incorporate prior-year and balance-sheet information into the modelling framework.
- Review model logic, assumptions, and outputs, including detailed reconciliations & tie-backs.
- Improve the quality, consistency, and automation of monthly management information.
- Support the development of board, bank, and investor reporting.
- Contribute to the FY2027 budgeting process, valuations, cash flow, and liquidity modelling.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with advanced financial modelling skills and relevant real estate experience.
- Demonstrable experience in property-level modelling and OpCo and PropCo structures.
- Extensive experience building fully integrated three-statement models from scratch.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
- Experience developing management, board, bank, or investor reporting.
- Disciplined approach to model controls, reconciliations, and quality assurance.
- Ability to work effectively with incomplete or inconsistent information.
- Practical, hands-on approach with a focus on improvement and innovation.
