Overview
The Oracle Developer role is a contract position focused on enhancing and configuring Oracle Service Cloud solutions to improve customer service delivery. The developer will work collaboratively with stakeholders to analyze requirements and implement effective technical solutions while maintaining best practices and security standards. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise in Oracle Service Cloud and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud applications to meet business requirements.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support customer service operations.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to streamline service delivery.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, configuration, and data issues to minimize operational disruptions.
- Support integrations between Oracle Service Cloud and third-party applications.
- Document technical designs, configuration settings, and development activities for compliance.
- Participate in system testing and oversee production deployments to ensure quality and stability.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Proven experience in configuring Oracle Service Cloud platforms and developing business processes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and integration techniques.
- Certification in Oracle Service Cloud is highly desirable.
- Experience in creating custom fields and objects within Oracle Service Cloud.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Understanding of security standards and best practices in Oracle environments.
- Experience with data management activities, including imports and exports.
