Overview
As a Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and evolving a large-scale Data & AI platform for an Energy Trading firm. This hybrid position requires collaboration with software, data, and AI teams to deliver reliable and scalable infrastructure services in both Azure and on-premise environments. The focus will be on hands-on engineering with tools like Terraform and Kubernetes, ensuring a robust infrastructure to support various workloads.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Support and evolve Azure and on-premise infrastructure solutions.
- Build infrastructure tailored for Data & AI workloads and services.
- Work with Kubernetes and manage containerized applications.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Solid background in DevOps and Platform Engineering.
- Programming experience in any language, preferably .NET/C# or Python.
- Extensive experience in highly regulated industries.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or on-premise environments.
- Proficient with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong skills in CI/CD and automation.
- Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and production environments.
