Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our team, focusing on maintaining and supporting critical infrastructure within data centre and cloud environments. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure the reliability and security of infrastructure services while playing a vital part in major project implementations. Your expertise will be key in administering systems and troubleshooting issues, bolstering operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day administration, monitoring, security checks, and incident resolution for critical infrastructure.
- Manage, patch, build, and maintain infrastructure including Windows Server, VMware, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
- Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services like Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
- Manage Azure AD/Entra ID and implement identity management protocols.
- Plan and implement new infrastructure solutions to support key projects.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational records.
- Work closely with infrastructure, network, applications, and third-party teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or data centre operations.
- Proficient in Windows Server and VMware administration.
- Strong background in Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with Azure administration, including IaaS and JSON templating.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and AD Connect.
- Familiarity with WSUS, SCCM, MFA, and anti-virus solutions.
- Experience in Citrix administration and SAN storage management.
- Desirable Unix/Linux experience and a full UK driving licence.
