Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to support critical infrastructure management across data centre and cloud environments. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure the reliability and security of systems while also planning and implementing new solutions. The position requires strong proficiency in Windows Server and VMware, alongside substantial experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day administration and monitoring of infrastructure systems.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, VMware, and Azure infrastructures.
- Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
- Implement and manage security measures such as VPN, DNS, and MFA solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational records.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams to address incidents.
- Plan and implement new infrastructure solutions for major projects.
- Oversee the management of Azure AD/Entra ID and RBAC configurations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure or data centre operations.
- Proficient in Windows Server and VMware environments.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with Azure administration, including IaaS and JSON templating.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
- Familiarity with WSUS, SCCM, and MFA solutions.
- Basic knowledge of Citrix administration.
- Desirable experience in Unix/Linux environments.
