Overview
The Power BI Developer will collaborate with various business stakeholders to centralize and enhance data reporting across multiple business systems. This role involves significant engagement with Azure and SQL Server environments, where the consultant will troubleshoot data issues, optimize data structures, and deliver insightful dashboards using Power BI. The position is contracted for two months and is hybrid, allowing for flexible work arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders across Finance, HR, and Commercial teams.
- Review and assess the existing SQL Server and reporting environment.
- Work with Azure-based data platforms and warehouse structures.
- Build and optimize data models and reporting datasets.
- Troubleshoot existing data pipelines, integrations, and API connections.
- Develop stakeholder-facing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Provide recommendations on reporting architecture and best practices.
- Deliver commercially focused insights that support business decision-making.
Requirements
- Strong SQL Server experience.
- Proven experience working within Azure data environments.
- Strong Power BI dashboard development experience.
- Data modelling and data warehousing expertise.
- Experience working with existing reporting architectures and databases.
- Ability to troubleshoot integrations, ETL processes, and API connections.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
