Overview
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join a small, skilled development team focused on delivering critical applications and systems. This role combines hands-on engineering and complex problem-solving, focusing on C#/.NET applications and SQL Server databases while collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance system functionality and address technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET, and SQL Server.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues across application and database layers.
- Work with complex relational and transactional data.
- Understand data flow between systems and identify underlying issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and solve problems.
- Take ownership of technical issues and drive them to resolution.
- Enhance the resilience and maintainability of existing systems.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in C# and modern .NET frameworks.
- Proficient in SQL Server with the ability to work with complex data.
- Experience in developing or supporting business-critical applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both code and database issues.
- Understanding of the business processes related to technical systems.
- Experience working hands-on in a small development team.
