Overview
In the role of Principal Salesforce Engineer, the contractor will collaborate with Salesforce teams to identify challenges within the existing Salesforce organization and software development lifecycle. They will help shape the technical roadmap, advise on integration patterns, and explore innovative solutions using Agentic AI. This position is crucial for examining architectural challenges and implementing iterative improvements to enhance overall system performance.
Responsibilities
- Work with Salesforce teams to identify challenges within the current Salesforce organization and software development lifecycle.
- Develop and influence the technical roadmap for Salesforce.
- Advise on existing Salesforce integration patterns and suggest improvements.
- Identify and implement opportunities for Agentic AI and Agentforce to drive transformational change.
- Examine larger architectural challenges and propose iterative solutions.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, particularly with Sales and Service Cloud, including Apex and LWCs.
- Preferably holds Salesforce Certification.
- Experience in refactoring or redesigning legacy Salesforce organizations in an iterative manner.
- Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, ideally AWS.
- Good understanding of Software Architecture and patterns as applied to Salesforce.
- Experience with event-driven architectures is a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce systems that are heavily integrated with other systems in real-time.
- Understanding of development tools including CI/CD, Git, and approaches to packaging.
