Overview
We are seeking an innovative Procurement Specialist to lead high-profile procurement activities within a dynamic organization. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, applying creative strategies to enhance procurement outcomes while managing suppliers and governance. This role requires a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment and involves infrequent travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities across various projects.
- Develop and implement creative procurement strategies to deliver commercial value.
- Utilize PA23 knowledge confidently in procurement processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create practical, outcome-focused solutions.
- Leverage digital tools and data to enhance procurement outcomes.
- Manage suppliers, commercial risk, and ensure procurement governance.
- Successfully deliver complex and time-critical procurements to contract award.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a procurement professional, capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of PA23 and its applications within procurement.
- Experience in digital, technology, and/or defence procurement is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a rapidly changing setting.
- Current MOD SC Security Clearance is required.
