Overview
The Finance Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of a dynamic brand by collaborating with Finance, Procurement, Technology, and operational teams. This position focuses on gathering and analyzing finance requirements to guide the supplier selection process for a new finance solution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. The role aims to enhance operational efficiency through detailed process mapping and evaluation of proposals.
Responsibilities
- Gather and prioritize finance requirements, process pain points, and control needs.
- Map current finance processes and define functional, data, reporting, and service requirements for the RFP.
- Develop evaluation criteria, demo scenarios, and scoring tools for objective supplier comparison.
- Assess solution fit, costs, integrations, data migration, risks, and change impacts.
- Present evidence-based recommendations and assist in translating the selected proposal into a mobilisation plan.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Analyst in fast-paced retail environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting RFPs or competitive tenders for finance systems or outsourced finance services.
- Ability to elicit, document, and prioritize finance requirements across various functions.
- Experience developing evaluation criteria and facilitating supplier demos and workshops.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and influence.
- Ability to operate across multiple business functions effectively.
