Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Interim Business Analyst with a focus on asset and wealth management or banking to join our team immediately until the end of the year. This hands-on role involves managing migrations and resolving complex data and operational challenges as part of a critical project. You will collaborate with various business functions to ensure successful execution under tight deadlines, requiring strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Drive the practical, day-to-day execution of the end-to-end transfer of client assets and data.
- Ensure all migration activities adhere to internal processes and maintain operational controls.
- Interrogate legacy and target core platforms, mapping data fields accurately.
- Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies and system integration issues.
- Conduct detailed data mapping and oversee asset reconciliation activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and other business functions.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully migrating platforms in a wealth management or banking environment.
- Ability to work with complex databases and platform architectures.
- Skilled at identifying root causes of system mismatches and implementing solutions.
- Experience in fast-paced, complex environments with immediate task absorption.
- Background in Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Asset Management is essential.
- Understanding of custody operations and wealth management products is preferred.
- Familiarity with CASS rules regarding client money and asset protection is beneficial.
