Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with expertise in Databricks to join a specialized delivery team for a significant agentic AI project. In this hands-on consulting role, you will work closely with a Business Analyst, Solution Architect, and Data Engineer to refine and implement a multi-agent AI solution while coaching client engineers to ensure successful delivery. The position offers the potential for extension into a machine-learning focused phase, depending on performance.
Responsibilities
- Refine and finalize the design of a multi-agent solution on Databricks.
- Lead hands-on delivery, including building, testing, and deploying agentic AI workflows.
- Pair-program and support the client's engineering team throughout implementation.
- Instruct and guide client engineers, providing feedback on their work.
- Apply strong governance practices using Unity Catalog and AI Gateway.
Requirements
- Proven experience building AI agents on Databricks, with a preference for multi-agent solutions.
- Hands-on experience with MLflow, including model registry.
- Familiarity with Unity Catalog and AI Gateway or equivalent governance tooling.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks features such as compute management, logging, and monitoring.
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
- Excellent consulting skills, including communication, people leadership, and technical advisory.
