Overview
The AI Assurance Consultant will play a critical role in enhancing the reliability and safety of artificial intelligence systems within the UK Defence Sector. This position involves collaborating with defence clients to evaluate, test, and validate AI systems against stringent safety, ethical, and regulatory standards. The consultant will engage with diverse stakeholders, providing expert oversight and insights on algorithmic integrity and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute validation frameworks for AI models and systems.
- Assess AI systems against Ministry of Defence ethical principles and compliance requirements.
- Provide objective advice on algorithmic bias and data integrity in secure environments.
- Engage with technical teams and leadership to communicate AI risks and insights effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in AI assurance, validation, or safety-critical engineering.
- Background in the UK defence or national security sectors.
- Solid understanding of algorithmic risk and model evaluation processes.
- Active UK Security Clearance (SC) minimum required.
