Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Artificial Intelligence Engineer to contribute to a critical project within the BioTech/Pharma sector. This role involves collaboration with a consultancy team to develop and deploy advanced AI/ML systems, leveraging your expertise in production software engineering and AI frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical ownership and effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy AI/ML systems into production environments.
- Build and optimize large language models and multi-agent systems.
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of data pipelines and inference processes.
- Utilize frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, or Haystack for AI solution development.
- Implement secure deployment strategies and cloud-based solutions using platforms like AWS.
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Monitor system performance and propose enhancements for scalability and efficiency.
- Lead efforts in MLOps practices to ensure reproducibility and evaluation of AI applications.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in Python with a focus on production software engineering.
- Commercial experience in building LLM, agentic AI, or multi-agent systems.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or Haystack.
- Proven ability to deploy AI/ML systems confidently in production settings.
- Knowledge of large-scale search and retrieval techniques, including embeddings and indexing.
- Experience with Docker, Git, and cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with secure deployment strategies and principles, including ISO 27001, NIST, or OWASP.
- Desirable skills include Kubernetes, EKS, OpenShift, and MLOps practices.
