Overview
In this role, the Product Lead will spearhead the development of a conversational AI experience aimed at enhancing customer engagement throughout their journey. Collaborating closely with engineering, legal, and compliance teams, the contractor will ensure the AI effectively guides users while adhering to relevant regulations. This position is critical in transforming customer interactions and requires a blend of product design, compliance knowledge, and sales expertise.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product design for a customer-centric conversational AI agent.
- Decide on behavioral and contextual signals for proactive user engagement.
- Apply sales conversation best practices to enhance AI interactions.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of the AI's responses as part of the product proposition.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance to meet UK regulations.
- Define detailed specifications for engineering teams to follow.
- Establish and execute a testing framework for conversation quality and compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in launching a conversational AI product that impacts sales or conversion channels.
- Strong understanding of effective sales conversation techniques from relevant work experience.
- Basic technical knowledge of conversational AI systems to facilitate collaboration with engineering teams.
- Ability to navigate compliance and regulatory requirements in product design.
