Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager to join a government digital transformation programme, focusing on delivering innovative digital products and services. This role, which is available for an initial three-month contract with the possibility of extension, will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders within a fully remote setting. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in product management, particularly within Agile environments, to contribute to key project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage product roadmaps, backlogs, and priorities to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and deliver user-centric digital solutions.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate progress and gather feedback.
- Apply knowledge of GDS standards and user-centered design principles in product development.
- Prioritize tasks and manage deliverables within an Agile framework.
- Monitor and analyze product performance to inform future iterations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, particularly in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong background in managing product roadmaps and backlogs.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of GDS standards and user-centered design principles.
- Previous experience within the government or public sector is preferred.
- Ability to start within a short notice period, ideally within two weeks.
