Overview
We are seeking a Product Owner to join a maritime and commodities trading firm that specializes in Freight, LNG, and Logistics trading. In this role, you will collaborate with internal traders and external providers to manage and enhance digital products used in trading activities. Your primary focus will be on delivering value through effective product management, roadmap ownership, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day product management of digital products for the trading team.
- Collaborate with traders and external providers to gather and shape product requirements.
- Own the delivery roadmap and ensure timely execution of product development.
- Write user stories and facilitate refinement sessions with the engineering team.
- Monitor product performance and track metrics to inform prioritization discussions.
- Act as a point of contact for internal traders and manage external client requests.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in a trading or commodities context.
- Strong understanding of physical trading, Freight, LNG, and logistics.
- Excellent skills in product management methodologies and agile practices.
- Experience in managing stakeholder engagement effectively.
- Ability to write user stories and work closely with engineering teams.
- Familiarity with tracking product performance and metrics.
