Overview
The Product Owner will be responsible for the day-to-day management of digital products used by an internal trading team in a commodities trading firm specializing in Freight, LNG, and Logistics. The role involves working closely with traders and external stakeholders to ensure the development of effective solutions that meet business needs and enhance trading capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery roadmap for digital products used in trading operations.
- Collaborate with internal traders to gather and shape product requirements.
- Write user stories and facilitate refinement sessions with the engineering team.
- Prioritize product features and track metrics to monitor performance.
- Act as the main point of contact for both internal traders and external clients regarding product functionality.
- Coordinate with external providers such as operators and ports to align product capabilities.
- Ensure timely delivery of product enhancements and customizations based on stakeholder feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in a trading or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of Physical Trading, Freight, LNG, and Logistics sectors.
- Experience managing digital products and user stories in an agile framework.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including traders and clients.
- Familiarity with product metrics and tracking methodologies.
