Overview
The role of Product Owner involves overseeing the daily management of digital products utilized by traders in a Commodities trading firm focusing on Physical LNG, Freight, and Cargo Trading. The contractor will collaborate closely with internal traders and external providers to ensure that product development aligns with business needs, while also maintaining the delivery roadmap and gathering product requirements for enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day product operations and serve as the primary contact for internal traders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and shape product requirements.
- Prioritize product features and facilitate discussions around product enhancements.
- Run refinement sessions with the engineering team to ensure timely development.
- Monitor product performance and analyze relevant metrics.
- Handle external client requests for additional features or customizations.
- Own the delivery roadmap and oversee the entire product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in the trading or logistics sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Physical Trading, LNG, Freight, and Logistics.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and managing product backlogs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to manage internal and external client interactions.
- Proficiency in tracking and analyzing product performance metrics.
