Overview
The Transformation Lead will play a critical role in the Discovery function of a life science organization, working closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement a transformation roadmap that aligns strategic objectives with actionable programs. This position involves leading initiatives in business architecture, operating model design, and technology enablement to achieve measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will leverage their leadership and strategic thinking skills to manage complex organizational changes while promoting effective collaboration among senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to define and communicate a clear transformation roadmap.
- Lead the development of future-state business and operating models.
- Establish and manage a portfolio of strategic transformation initiatives.
- Drive changes to organizational design and ways of working.
- Develop frameworks for prioritization, success measures, and performance metrics.
- Oversee transformation governance, including risk management and readiness assessments.
- Collaborate with HR and communications to facilitate effective change management.
- Challenge and improve existing operating models to enhance organizational performance.
Requirements
- Significant leadership experience in enterprise-wide transformation.
- Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into large-scale implementation plans.
- Expertise in operating model design and business architecture.
- Extensive experience in program and portfolio management.
- Demonstrated success in transforming people, processes, technology, governance, and culture.
- Experience collaborating with Executive Committees and senior leadership.
- Strong commercial and organizational acumen.
- Desirable qualifications in business architecture, program management, or change management.
