Overview
The Transformation Portfolio Director will play a key role in a contract position, managing transformation initiatives for the R&D function of a major global pharmaceutical client. Collaborating with senior stakeholders, the contractor will ensure effective delivery and governance of multiple workstreams, aligning the diverse interests and objectives within the transformation portfolio to achieve successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple transformation workstreams across the R&D portfolio.
- Drive delivery, managing milestones, dependencies, risks, and governance across the programme.
- Engage senior stakeholders, including SVP-level clients, to maintain alignment and resolve delivery challenges.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices in programme delivery and ensure strong governance mechanisms are in place.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an independent consultant.
- Consulting background is preferred.
- Strong experience leading and delivering major transformation portfolios within complex organizations.
- Excellent programme delivery, governance, and cross-functional coordination capabilities.
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills; experience in Life Sciences, Pharma, or R&D is advantageous.
