Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a highly visible transformation programme within the Specialty Insurance sector on an initial 6-month contract. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Transformation and be responsible for leading multiple concurrent change initiatives, ensuring effective project delivery while engaging with stakeholders across business and technology teams. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a variety of strategic initiatives, including operational improvements and technology changes related to emerging AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across the transformation portfolio.
- Work closely with the Head of Transformation to drive delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, RAID logs, and governance reporting.
- Coordinate business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Lead project governance, steering committees, and executive reporting.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues across multiple workstreams.
- Support organisational change activities and adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Contribute to the delivery of AI-focused initiatives, helping to embed emerging technologies within business operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering projects within the Specialty Insurance or London Market insurance sector.
- Strong track record managing multiple projects concurrently within complex transformation environments.
- Experience delivering both business and technology change initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives and business leaders.
- Strong understanding of project governance, reporting, and delivery methodologies.
- Experience working within insurer, MGA, broker, or Lloyd's market environments.
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, or data-driven transformation projects would be highly advantageous.
