Programme Manager

Overview

The Programme Manager will lead a Student Record System implementation for a university, overseeing a critical transformation programme within Higher Education. This role requires a seasoned professional experienced in managing large-scale projects, and will involve close collaboration with various stakeholders across academic and professional services. The position offers an opportunity to drive significant change and ensure successful delivery across the institution at a key stage of the programme.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Student Record System.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders across academic and professional services.
  • Develop and execute project plans to ensure timely delivery of programme objectives.
  • Monitor and manage project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication between teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Report on progress to senior leadership and stakeholders regularly.
  • Ensure the successful embedding of changes into Business As Usual (BAU) processes.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and buy-in throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Programme Manager in Higher Education.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Experience with Student Record System implementation is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the full student lifecycle in a university context.
  • Ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Track record of delivering complex change initiatives from inception to BAU.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies.
