Overview
We are seeking two experienced Business Analysts to join a contract role supporting the delivery of digital services within a Government environment. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Product, Delivery, and User-Centered Design (UCD) teams to translate user and business needs into precise requirements, fostering an Agile delivery framework. You will be required to work on-site twice a month while primarily supporting remote collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Run requirements and stakeholder workshops to gather insights.
- Create Epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria for project alignment.
- Manage and prioritise the service backlog in collaboration with the Product team.
- Support Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Reviews and Show & Tell sessions.
- Work with UCD and User Research teams to accurately capture user needs.
- Ensure all requirements align with Government Service Standards and WCAG 2.2 AA.
- Identify and assess business, policy, and delivery risks and constraints.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Government settings.
- Strong background in creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with Government Service Standards and WCAG 2.2 AA.
- Excellent stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
- Experience collaborating with Product and UCD teams.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence software tools.
