Overview
The Delivery Manager will spearhead the successful delivery of cyber security projects within a dynamic organization. Collaborating closely with technical teams and stakeholders, this role focuses on implementing strong governance and planning frameworks while supporting Agile delivery practices. The Delivery Manager will be responsible for ensuring processes are adhered to and project milestones are met, while also fostering communication and accountability across all project aspects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of cyber security related projects from initiation to completion.
- Establish and maintain project plans, milestones, and governance controls.
- Facilitate Agile delivery practices across teams to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and manage expectations.
- Challenge technical teams constructively to promote accountability and clarity in delivery.
- Ensure that project documentation meets high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager in technology environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application in project delivery.
- Familiarity with cyber security projects and their unique requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage detailed project plans.
- Excellent understanding of project governance and control processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Competence in risk and issue management throughout project lifecycles.
