Overview
The Power BI Developer will focus on delivering impactful reporting solutions for a large-scale marketing attribution program within an established digital marketing and analytics consultancy. Working within a collaborative analytics team, this role involves designing, building, and maintaining Power BI dashboards that offer actionable insights to both client stakeholders and technical teams. The position requires strong engagement with various stakeholders and expertise in data modeling to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Gather and define reporting requirements with senior business stakeholders.
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build robust data models using DAX and Power Query.
- Connect Power BI to cloud-based data platforms, primarily BigQuery.
- Work alongside data engineering teams to ensure reporting requirements are met.
- Deliver meaningful insights that support business decision-making.
- Produce clear documentation to support knowledge transfer and future handover.
- Collaborate across UK-based and international teams.
Requirements
- Strong Power BI development experience.
- Advanced DAX, Power Query and data modeling skills.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as GCP and BigQuery.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering experience.
- Ability to translate data into clear business insights.
- Experience working within cross-functional delivery teams.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- NICE TO HAVE: Marketing analytics, measurement or attribution experience; SQL and BigQuery expertise; exposure to dbt or similar transformation tools; agency or consultancy experience.
