Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner/Product Builder to support the implementation of a new digital claims platform for a specialist organization within the London insurance market. The ideal candidate will take on a proactive role in shaping product direction and work closely with business and technology teams, focusing on innovative solutions including AI capabilities and low-code/no-code functionalities. This hybrid position demands a blend of traditional product management with hands-on solution delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, roadmap, backlog and delivery priorities.
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear product outcomes and deliverable features.
- Work closely with claims stakeholders to understand existing processes, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Operate in a hybrid Product Owner/Product Builder capacity, supporting elements of solution configuration and delivery.
- Work closely with technical teams around APIs, integrations, and connectivity with wider business systems.
- Define acceptance criteria and ensure appropriate testing and validation processes are in place.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, end users, and technical delivery teams.
- Drive decisions and maintain momentum within a fast-paced delivery environment.
Requirements
- Strong Product Owner or Product Management background.
- Extensive London Market insurance experience.
- Good understanding of claims processes and workflows.
- Proven experience delivering digital products from concept through to implementation.
- Good understanding of APIs, integrations, and system connectivity.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
- Ability to operate autonomously and work beyond the boundaries of a traditional Product Owner role.
- Highly desirable: Experience delivering claims technology solutions and knowledge of low-code/no-code platforms.
