Overview
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager or Transformation Lead to join a specialist insurer on a significant transformation journey. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with the Head of Transformation to establish a new transformation programme and define the strategic roadmap while collaborating with senior stakeholders across the UK and US operations. This is a unique opportunity to influence and shape the direction of key modernisation initiatives from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Transformation in establishing a new transformation function and programme framework.
- Lead discovery, mobilisation, and execution activities across multiple strategic change initiatives.
- Define programme governance, delivery structures, and operating models.
- Drive business and operational transformation within a complex insurance environment.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and shape future projects.
- Help integrate and align processes across a business that has grown through acquisition.
- Manage senior stakeholders across UK, International, and US operations.
- Build programme roadmaps, business cases, and delivery plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager, Transformation Lead, or Senior Transformation Manager within the London Market or Specialty Insurance sector.
- Strong background in delivering large-scale business transformation and modernisation programmes.
- Experience working within organisations that have undergone mergers, acquisitions, or business integrations.
- Previous operational and/or Business Analysis experience, able to bridge strategy and execution.
- Experience in setting up programmes, governance frameworks, and delivery structures from an early stage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and shape initiatives during discovery phases.
- Excellent understanding of London Market insurance operations and business processes.
