Overview
This role involves leading and managing critical IT projects for a Public Sector organization. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, overseeing project teams and facilitating communication between stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Implement effective project management frameworks and documentation for IT and digital projects.
- Facilitate sprint planning meetings and engage with team members and stakeholders to clarify project requirements.
- Direct project team members throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure detailed tracking of project plans and provide status reports to maintain project transparency and progression.
Requirements
- Qualified in project management with experience throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proficient in both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in running sprint planning sessions and directing teams through sprints.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex IT business projects within a digital programme portfolio.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering custom-built applications and adding value to business stakeholders.
